Custom Synthesis

Custom synthesis has evolved over the past 50 years as a service offered by manufacturers to companies who may be unable to conduct these processes for one or more reasons. Custom synthesis is the scenario in which a company undertakes the task of producing a product at the specific request of another organization. In these cases, the company doing the work is the contracted organization and the company for whom the work is being done is the contracting organization. Macrocyclics can custom synthesize all of its chelators in a timely and efficient manner to meet the unique needs of customers. Lanthanide complexes of these chelators are only produced by custom order. These lanthanide metals include Tm³⁺, Dy³⁺, Gd³⁺, Eu³⁺ La³⁺, Lu³⁺, and Ho³⁺. Delivery time for products prepared by custom synthesis depends on the availability of raw materials and the actual processing time. Quality specifications for these products are always outlined and agreed to before the product is produced.
